Robert H. Frank

Robert H. Frank (* 1945) is an American economist. He is Professor of Economics at Cornell University.

Life

Frank studied mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology (BS, 1966). A Master in Statistics ( 1971) and a Ph.D. in Economics (1972 ), he obtained from the University of California, Berkeley. Since 1972 he is a professor at Cornell University. 1978-1980 he was chief economist of the Civil Aeronautics Board, added several stays at other universities, among other things, he was 2000-2001 Professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. Since 2005 he has been a columnist for the New York Times.
