Robert Henrik Rehbinder

Robert Henrik Rehbinder ( born July 15, 1777 Paimio, † March 8, 1841 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Swedish politician.

Robert Henrik Rehbinder was from 1811 until his death, State Secretary in the Grand Duchy of Finland. In March 1809, he played an important role in the efforts to achieve autonomy during the first Finnish parliament meeting in Porvoo.

1826 Rehbinder was elevated to the rank of count. 1840 appointed the University of Helsinki him an honorary Doctor of Philosophy.

1936 honored Finland Rehbinder by issuing a special stamp. His autobiography, entitled "Souvenirs de ma vie" is preserved in manuscript form in the Finnish National Archives.
