Robert Hofferer

Robert Hofferer (* 1959 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian film and theater producer, and arts and cultural managers.

Life

After leaving school he trained at the University of Vienna and earned a Master's degree in a study of Theatre Studies and Communication Studies. After that produced Robert Hofferer theater projects free groups in Graz and Vienna and organized exhibitions and performances by young artists. He also worked as a freelance cultural journalist for print, television and radio. About a decade ago, he was on the road again and again traveled extensively in Europe, Africa, Asia and America. Robert Hofferer busy both professionally and privately intensive visual art, music, theater and film. Robert Hofferer is the manager of Andre Heller, who in his book Africa! Africa! thanked him. He is also a director of the company Artevent in Vienna. He founded the company Artdeluxe Arts and Cultural Management in Vienna and from 2006 to 2012, the manager of the actress Asli Bayram, whose international career, he enabled and significantly promoted and shaped.

He is currently producing the new edition of the show Afrika! Africa! .

Since 2012 Robert Hofferer is a main sponsor of Let's Cee Film Festival and founder of the Urania Award in the best feature film and best documentary and the star of the Urania for the life's work of an outstanding personality in the film world. In 2013 he added to his activity the Artdeluxe Award for Best Short Film added.
