Robert I. Sutton

Robert I. Sutton (born 1954 in Chicago) is a professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an institution of Stanford University and one of the leading business schools in the United States. There he works in the areas of management science, engineering and Organizational Behaviour. In addition, he has been active for many companies as a consultant.

Sutton received his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan and then worked at Stanford University since 1983. He also taught at the Haas Business School and was repeatedly Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences from 1986-87, 1994-95, and 2002 -03.
