Robert J. Huber

Robert James Huber ( born August 29, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan, † April 23, 2001 in Troy, Michigan ) was an American politician.

Huner attended from 1935 to 1937, the University of Detroit and graduated in 1939 at the Culver Military Academy. In 1943 he received at the Sheffield Scientific School, a college of Yale University 's Bachelor of Science. After that Huber served from 1943 to 1946 in the United States Army. In 1959, the now active as a businessman Huber was elected mayor of the city of Troy. This office he held until 1964. 1965 to 1970, Huber was a member of Michigan state senate before he was finally elected as a Republican to the 93rd Congress, where the state of Michigan represented in the House of Representatives from 3 January 1973 to 3 January 1975. In the elections to the 94th congress, he could not defend his seat in 1974.
