Robert M. Price

Robert McNair Price (* July 7, 1954 ) is an American theologian and author. He is professor of theology and biblical studies at the Coleman Theological Seminary and professor of critical biblical studies at the Center for Inquiry Institute. Price deals with the writings of early Christianity in its publications and provides the historical existence of Jesus of Nazareth in question.

Life

Price spent much of his life in New Jersey. Early on, he came up with a fundamentalist church of Baptists in touch and engaged there and later for other Christian projects. The more he thus dealt with Christianity, the more critical it was against its claims to truth.

Since the 1970s, he then studied various sciences, including the theology of Paul Tillich. Over time, he detached himself from any commitment to a religious denomination and religious institution.
