Robert Rodat
Robert Rodat ( born 1953 in New Hampshire as Robert Keene ) is an American screenwriter.
Life
Robert Rodat is best known by Saving Private Ryan (1998), Pecos Bill - An incredible adventure in the Wild West ( orig. Tall Tale ), Amy and the wild geese with Vince McKewin (1996) and The Patriot ( 2000). One of his last works dealt with a revision of the script from 10,000 BC ( 2008). Rodat is currently working on a screenplay for the film WarCraft. He also participated in several episodes of Falling Skies ( 2011) as a screenwriter.
Rodats screenplay for Saving Private Ryan received several nominations for an Oscar, a Golden Globe Award, a Golden Satellite Award and the WGA Award.
