Robert Sabolič

Robert Sabolić ( born September 18, 1988 in Jesenice, SR Slovenia) is a Slovenian ice hockey player who is under contract with the ERC Ingolstadt since January 2013.

Career

Robert Sabolić began his career with his hometown club HK Jesenice and went through all the youth teams before he for the first-team debut in the Slovenian Hockey League was in season 2006/ 07, after he had to stop during the entire previous year due to a back injury with the game operation. In the following years he established himself as a regular player of the club. His breakthrough came in 2008/ 09 when he scored 47 points scorer in the regular season. A year later, he ran the first time in the Austrian Hockey League.

In the season 2010/11 he formed together with Rok Tičar and Ziga Jeglič a striker trio that was found on the top ranks of the points hunter - rating despite the fact that none of the players was older than 22 years early in the season and the club a good start to the new season enabled. He himself, rising to 59 scorer points, including 33 goals, in 54 games. After the end of the season the national team left the HK Jesenice with which he had won in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, four times in a row, the Slovenian league titles and the Slovene joined the 2011/12 season to the Swedish second division team Södertälje SK in which the striker a contract for two seasons, signed. In the summer of 2012, his contract was terminated early in Södertälje.

ERC Ingolstadt

Since January 2013 he is now the Bavarian Hockey club ERC Ingolstadt. In January 2013 Robert Sabolić moved to ERC Ingolstadt. He managed a debut to measure, because he was able to achieve the first goal for his new club in the first game.

Internationally

For Slovenia Sabolić took her by the A- World Cup 2011 for the first time participated in an official tournament.
