Robert Schellander (born 31 January 1983) is an Austrian football player at the position of a defensive and midfield player.

Career

Schellander began his career at SV Feldkirchen, from where he moved to what was then the German Bundesliga FC Kärnten. His debut in the Austrian Bundesliga was Schellander on November 30, 2002, when he came off the bench in the 0-5 defeat of FC against SV Ried in the 69th minute for Thomas Höller. His first Bundesliga goal was achieved by the Carinthian on 6 August 2002 against SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. The game ended 1-1. After the descent of the FC Kärnten in 2004, he played three years in the second division, before he moved on loan to the local 2nd Bundesliga for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in Germany.
