Robert Schuman Prize, Alfred Toepfer Foundation

The Robert Schuman Prize was awarded from 1966 to 1999 by the Alfred Toepfer Foundation in reminiscence of the European statesman Robert Schuman for his contribution to European unification. The award was first annually awarded from 1983 to 1993 only every two years. The final ceremony took place in 1999 in a modified form ( a gold medal associated with the right to nominate an award and a scholarship ).
