Robert Snodgrass

Robert Snodgrass ( born September 7, 1987 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish footballer who is since 2012 in Norwich City under contract. Since 2011 he is also active for the Scottish national team.
Playing career
FC Livingston (2004-2008)
Robert Snodgrass began his professional career in the season 2004/ 05 the Scottish first division club FC Livingston, for which he had previously been already active in youth. He scored in his first season, two goals in sixteen league games and finished the season in tenth place and prevent third last. The Scottish Premier League 2005 /06 brought further deterioration and the descent as Table in the second division for the club. In the second half of the First Division in 2006/ 07, the previously little considered Snograss moved to third division side Stirling Albion, scoring until end of season five goals in twelve games. In the play-off final for promotion to the second division he scored in the final against Airdrie United in a 3-2 victory in the return leg two hits. Since the FC Livingston meantime had missed the return to the first division, Snodgrass played (31 games / 9 goals) 2007/ 08 again in the First Division and missed the rise in seventh again significantly.
Leeds United ( 2008 -)
On 25 July 2008, the 20 -year-old Snodgrass moved to managed by the Scottish coach Gary McAllister English third division side Leeds United and signed a three -year contract. After the dismissal of coach McAllister in December 2008 Simon Grayson took over the club and led Leeds in fourth place in the play-offs. There, however, the team failed to Snodgrass (42 games / 9 goals) in the first round at Millwall FC. Successful went for the club, the 2009/10 season for the runner behind Norwich City that led to the subprime Football League Championship for direct ascent. As a newly promoted Leeds acted successfully in the Championship 2010/11 and missed only a seventh place play- offs. Robert Snodgrass scored six goals in seven league games.
Scottish National Team (2011-2012)
After his participation in the U-19 Football Championship 2006 in Poland, in Scotland, was beaten only in the final of Spain, Snodgrass was also nominated in the Scottish squad for the U-20 World Cup Canada 2007.
