Robert Sparr

Robert Sparr (* September 10, 1915; † August 28, 1969 in Colorado ) was an American film director, editor and screenwriter.

Sparrs career was relatively short and covers the year 1952 until 1969. Initially he worked as an editor since 1952 and as such was in episodes of series such as Gunsmoke, Maverick and Wild Wild West he was involved. For his work on Maverick, he was nominated in 1958 and 1959 respectively for the Emmy.

From 1959 he turned increasingly to the Director. He directed episodes of television series such as Lassie, Perry Mason, Bonanza, Batman and Star Trek.

Robert Sparr died at the age of 53 in a plane crash.
