Robert Sténuit

Robert Stenuit ( born 1933 in Brussels) is a Belgian author, divers and underwater archaeologist.

Life

Stenuit written as the author of several books about his discoveries in underwater archeology. In September 1962 he took as a diver in the project Man at Sea, an underwater station, by Edwin Link in part. In 1967 he was involved in the discovery of the Spanish shipwrecks Girona, which belonged to the Spanish Armada. In 1975 he was involved as a diver on the localization of the Dutch merchant ship Slot ter Hoog, which sank in 1724 off the island of Madeira. In 1977, he discovered as a diver, the shipwreck Witte Leeuw, who had loaded as a Dutch merchant ship spices and Mingporzellan.
