Robert Stigwood
Robert Stigwood ( born April 16, 1934 in Adelaide, Australia) is an Australian music and film producer, considering the end of the fifties moved to the UK. He first worked in 1961 as a promoter for Joe Meek and discovered this the actor John Leyton as a singer. His first company went bankrupt in 1965. 1967 began his association with the Beatles manager Brian Epstein. Shortly thereafter, the RSO was (Robert Stigwood Organization) founded, which in 1970 sold for $ 8 million to the PolyGram.
