Robert Vișoiu

Robert Vişoiu ( born February 10, 1996 Piteşti ) is a Romanian automobile racing driver. It starts in the GP3 Series since 2012.

Career

Vişoiu began his motorsport career in 2003 in karting, where he was active until 2010. He was, among other things 2009 Second in the Southeast European KF3 Championship, and in 2010 second in the KF3 WSK World Series and the KF3 WSK Master Series. 2011 moved Vişoiu into formula racing. He joined for Jenzer Motorsport in the Formula Abarth. Vişoiu won two races and was in the Italian championship, who won his teammate Patric Niederhauser sixth. In the European standings, he was also of Niederhauser, who was runner-up, beaten and finished the season in fourth place. In addition, he took up to four races of the Formula Pilota China Series and stood on the podium twice. At the end of the year Vişoiu participated in GP3 testing for Jenzer. He scored a Top 3 time.

2012 Vişoiu went both Jenzer Motorsport in the GP3 series, as well as for the team Ghinzani in the Italian Formula 3 Championship at the start. In the GP3 Series, he scored already in the second race with a second place a podium placement. At the end of the season he was 14th in the driver standings. In the Italian Formula 3 Vişoiu not played all races. At the end of the season he was with a win in ninth place in the drivers' standings. 2013 remained Vişoiu in the GP3 Series and switched to MW Arden. He won the sprint race in Valencia and Mogyoród.
