Roberto Bolle

Roberto Bolle ( born March 26, 1975 in Casale Monferrato, Piedmont ) is an Italian ballet dancer.

Career

Bolle was born in 1975 in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region of Piedmont. At seven, he began his ballet training at a local school, the age of eleven he was accepted at the ballet school of La Scala in Milan. Rudolf Nureyev in 1990 chose him to be the Tadzio in a ballet to death in Venice (Choreography: Flemming Flindt ).

After a short engagement at La Scala as Primoballerino Bolle is a freelance since 1996. He has since, among other things with the Royal Ballet, the Tokyo Ballet, the National Ballet of Canada, the Stuttgart Ballet, the Finnish National Ballet, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Vienna State Opera in the Semperoper Ballett in Dresden, the Bavarian State Opera danced in Munich and at numerous festivals. 2007 Bolle had his debut at the American Ballet Theatre in New York.

Bolle has also become known as a model and in 1999 one of the Italian Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. In 2006 he visited the Sudan and subsequently campaigned on a U.S. $ 650,000 for local education and health projects. At the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin Bolle was one of the representatives for the modern age.
