Roberto Cossa

Roberto Mario Cossa ( born November 30, 1934 in Buenos Aires ), also known as Tito Cossa, is an Argentine writer, playwright and journalist.

Life

His theater career began as an actor and puppeteer before he began to write plays for puppet theater and screenplays for film and television. His plays have been successfully performed throughout Latin America and won many awards. First Cossa was one of the representatives of the independent Argentine theater and stood for a direction that was also referred to as social realism. In 1981, he was also co-founder of the resulting movement of the Teatro Abierto.

He is known, among other things ( German Granny eats ) for the screenplay for the award-winning film Tute Cabrera (1968 ) and for successfully listed in Europe and the USA play La Nona by 1976.
