Roberto Dellasega
Roberto Dellasega ( born June 15, 1990 in Cavalese ) is an Italian ski jumper.
Career
Dellasega started his professional career at the age of 15 and launched on 17 September 2005 for the first time in a jump in the FIS Cup. When jumping on his home hill in Predazzo he did not come on the 70th square. On 3 February 2007, he played his first jump in the Continental Cup and came in Pragelato on the large hill on the 48th place. At the Junior World Cup 2007 in Tarvisio, he reached the 9th place in the team competition. On 14 December 2008, he played his first World Cup competitions, finishing on the large hill in Pragelato the 41st and remained so even without World Cup points. At the Junior World Championships 2008 in Štrbské Pleso he jumped on the normal hill on the 8th Place and was with the team Seventh. When ski flying in Oberstdorf on 14 February 2009, he failed narrowly in qualification. Also in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, he missed on the large hill qualification. In team competition, he was with the team behind the team from Germany eleventh. To kick off the 2009 Nordic Tournament in Lahti he failed with number 42 already in the qualification. In Kuopio, he managed to jump in the final round, he finished 36th. At the World Cup Jumping on January 17, 2010 in Sapporo, he was able to win his first World Cup as a 29 - points. At the Olympic Winter Games 2010, he was disqualified in the qualifying of the normal hill due to a too big suit. When qualifying on the big hill he could not qualify for the finals to be 44.
When jumping on December 22, 2013 Swiss Engelberg he could jump after almost four years in the points, scoring with 21 place his best ever World Cup result for the first time.
Roberto and Diego Dellasega are cousins .
