Roberto Goyeneche

Roberto Goyeneche ( born January 29, 1926 in Argentina, † August 27, 1994 ) was an Argentine tango singer who represented the archetype of the Bohemian in Buenos Aires in the 1950s. In the local music scene, he was a living legend.

Life

1944, at the age of 18 years, Roberto Goyeneche joined the orchestra of Raul Kaplun in after he won a contest and was shortly afterwards made ​​his debut in a live performance on Radio Belgrano. In 1952, he teamed up with Horacio Aníbal Troilo with Salgán and 1956. From 1963, he performed as a solo singer and took the first Balada Para Un Loco by Astor Piazzolla. In the 1980s Goyeneche appeared as a guest star in the films El Exilio de Gardel and Sur by Pino Solanas.

Because of his blond hair he was nicknamed El Polaco was ( The Pole ). He is identified with the district Saavedra, where he grew up. Goyeneche died 1994. He was buried in the cemetery Chacarita.
