Roberto La Rocca

Roberto La Rocca (* July 9, 1991 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan race car driver. It starts in the European F3 Open since 2012.

Career

La Rocca began his motorsport career in 2008 in Formula racing. He first principally in North America. In the 2008/2009 season, he was fourth in the Skip Barber Southern Regional Series. 2009, launched La Rocca in the Skip Barber National Championship and had no points. After a one year break, he returned in 2011 to motorsport back. With a second place as best result was La Rocca fifth in the F2000 Championship Series. He also participated in the SCCA Southeast Division National Formula Continental, where he was eighth, and at the Winter Series Formula Car Challenge part. 2012 La Rocca remained in the F2000 Championship Series. He succeeded, eleven of the fourteen races to decide for himself and to win the title. In addition, La Rocca took in 2012 in the European F3 Open for the first time participated in a European racing series. He reached for the Team West -Tec F3 starting tenth overall.

2013 La Rocca moved completely to Europe. First, he announced in 2013 to compete for Bamboo Engineering in the GP3 Series. After the death of Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez, however, La Rocca broke up his GP3 Treaty because of the uncertain political situation his promotion was no longer safe through the country. Instead, La Rocca remained in the European F3 Open the Team West -Tec F3.
