Roberto Pinto

Roberto Gonçalves Pinto ( born August 22, 1978 in Stuttgart) is a Portuguese football player and coach on the center field position.

Sports career

Pinto first played in the youth of the VfL ​​Stuttgart -Wangen (now sporting culture Stuttgart ) ( 1984-1991 ), before joining VfB Stuttgart 1991. There he was in consequence of B German Youth Champion twice. In 1996 he first came to the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart (1997-1999 ) before he was appointed to the Stuttgart professionals in 1999.

From 1998 to 2001 Pinto played for VfB Stuttgart total of 52 times in the Bundesliga. For the season 2001 /02 he was engaged by Hertha BSC, where he came up 34 times in 2004 as a right " winger " is used.

From January 2005, he acted as a "wild " under the then Bielefeld coach Uwe Rapolder and also under Thomas von Heesen. Pinto shot so far in 129 missions as a midfielder for his three Bundesliga clubs two goals each.
