Robertus Anglicus

Robertus Anglicus was an English astronomer of the 13th century. He taught at the University of Montpellier and possibly also in Paris.

He is known to us as the author of a 1271 published commentary on De Sphaera of John de Sacrobosco. In it there is a remark about the then state of development of the watch technology.
