Robin Grossmann

Robin Grossmann ( born August 17, 1987 in Dintikon ) is a Swiss ice hockey player (defender), who has a contract with HC Davos since the beginning of the season 2008 /09.

Career

Robin Grossmann began his career in the HC Wohlen Wohlen free office before he transferred to the offspring of the Kloten Flyers in 2000. In 2002, he then played for the elite A-Juniors and gave the Flyers in the 2005 /06 his debut in the National League A ( NLA ) for the Flyers. The following season, he completed a total of 15 NLA games for Kloten, but was otherwise also the partner club EHC Biel and the U20 national team in the National League B used.

In December 2007, several clubs NLA sought a commitment Grossmann, who eventually signed a two -year contract with HC Davos. Due to a violation of Pascal Müller got Grossmann at the beginning of the 2008 /09 a regular place in the defense of the HCD, but had to return from Muller for a place in the squad with Lukas Stoop and Andreas Furrer fight. Internationally

His first game for Switzerland in an international competition completed Robin Grossmann at the U18 World Cup 2005 ( ninth place, descent into B -WM). After he had already accrued in the 2006 /07 for the Swiss U20 national team in the NLB, he took the U20 selection part in the U20 World Cup in 2007, finishing in seventh place.

Robin Grossmann was nominated in 2013 for the first time for a men's World Cup and won the Swiss national team in Stockholm the silver medal.
