Robin Lehner

Robin Lehner (* July 24, 1991 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2010 with the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team in Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Career

Robin Lehner began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the Frölunda HC, for the U18 and U20 junior he was active between 2006 and 2009. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2009 in the second round than a total of 46 players from the Ottawa Senators. First, the goalkeeper ran in the 2009/10 season but for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, who had selected him in the CHL Import Draft in 2009 when a total of nine players on the Canadian junior league Ontario Hockey League.
