Robin Li

Robin Li (Chinese ( simplified):李彦宏, Chinese (Traditional) :李彦宏, Pinyin: lǐ Yanhong; born November 17, 1968 in Yangquan, Shanxi ) is a Chinese computer scientist and entrepreneur who is one of the richest Chinese. Forbes estimates his fortune in 2013 to $ 11 billion.

Life

Li graduated from Peking University and at the University at Buffalo computer science. After finishing his studies, he worked from 1994 for IDD Information Services. In 2000 he teamed up with Eric Xu, the Chinese company Baidu, its CEO since 2004. Li is married to Dongmin Ma and has a daughter.
