Robin Roberts (newscaster)

Robin Roberts ( born November 23, 1960 in Alabama) is an American journalist and news anchor.

Life

In her childhood, she grew up in Pass Christian, Mississippi, where she attended Pass Christian High School. Roberts studied communications at the Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. After graduation, she worked in 1983 as a radio reporter for the television station WDAM - TV in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and then moved in 1984 to the television station WSMV ​​- TV in Nashville, Tennessee. From 1988 to 1990 she worked for the television station WAGA - TV in Atlanta, Georgia. From 1990 to 2005 she worked as a sports reporter for the television channel ESPN. Since 2005 she has worked as a news anchor in the U.S. news show Good Morning America. She lives with Amber Laign in New York City.
