As an end-effector, the last element of a kinematic chain is called in robotics. For industrial robots, this can be for example, be a unit for welding of car bodies or generally a simple gripper.

The English- as TCP ( Tool Center Point) indicated excellent point at the end of the kinematic chain is the target system to which they apply the resulting after performing the task positioning requirements. Task-specific TCP can be outside of the robot while also examples would be the focus of a laser or gripped the center of the object being transported.
