History
In April 2008, Live Nation Jay -Z worked together to create Roc Nation. Roc Nation has a sub-label called Star Roc and an entertainment company called Takeover Roc Nation, which is located in the United Kingdom to cover besides the UK and Europe; Roc Nation sells his records with Sony Music Entertainment and is working with Live Nation. After Jay -Z heard the mixtape The Warm Up, J. Cole was the first artist to have been taken from Roc Nation is under contract.
