Rocca di Cambio

Rocca di Cambio is a municipality ( comune ) of the Abruzzo region and of the Province of L' Aquila in Italy and counts (as of 31 December 2012) 495 inhabitants. The municipality is situated approximately 15 kilometers south-southeast of L' Aquila in the Regional Park Sirente - Velino and belongs to the Comunità montana Siren Tina.

In 1953, the community was one of the locations for the film Don Camillo's return with Gino Cervi and Fernandel in the lead roles.

Sports

Not only as a ski resort, the community is known, but was especially in the 1960s repeatedly stop on the Giro d' Italia. Finally, the Giro in 2012 made ​​a stop here.
