Rochus Gliese

Rochus Gliese ( born January 6, 1891 in Berlin, † December 22, 1978 ) was a German stage and film director.

Theater

Gliese studied from 1909 to 1911 in Berlin, painting and theater history. He first worked as a costume designer and since 1913 as a stage designer at various theaters in Berlin: From 1913 to 1914 at the German Art Theatre in 1914 at the Lessing Theatre, 1915-1917 to the Meinhard - Bernauer - stages, in 1918 at the Residenz Theater and 1922-1932 at the State Theatre.
