Rock County (Minnesota)

The Rock County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010, the County had 9687 inhabitants and a population density of 7.7 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Luverne.

Geography

The County is located in the extreme southwest Minnesota on the Coteau des Prairies -called plateau that extends from eastern South Dakota to in the southwestern Minnesota and northwestern Iowa.

History
