Rockne S. O'Bannon
Rockne S. O'Bannon ( born January 12, 1955 in Los Angeles, California) is an American author, film producer and film director. He began his career in 1985 as an editor for Twilight Zone. Shortly afterwards he wrote for Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories episode Life on Death Row. The big coup was in 1987, when he his screenplay for the later box office hit Alien Nation - sold Spacecop LA 1991. The complexity of the Alien Nation universe prove the continuation of the film by a television series, several TV movies, as well as books and comic series.
