Rocksmith

Rocksmith is a video game series by Ubisoft, where the player plays with an electric guitar. The latest version Rocksmith 2014 was published in 2013.

Gameplay

The aim of the game is to take in the style of other rhythm games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band notes and chords at the right time and to accompany songs. Here, the player can play with a real electric guitar, the audio signals are converted by an adapter (Real Tone Cable) and are interpreted by the game. Corresponds to the note played to the required sound, this is detected by the game and included in the valuation of the player.

The capabilities of the player, the number and complexity of Playing tones increases by a dynamic difficulty.

Versions

Rocksmith was published in the United States 2011. The first extension, in which the player could also play bass, was released along with the main game in 2012 and in Europe. Rocksmith 2014 was released worldwide in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Mac.
