Rockville to Baltimore and Frederick is the third largest city in the U.S. state of Maryland, United States. It is the administrative seat ( county seat ) of Montgomery County. 2010, the city had 61,209 inhabitants.

The city was founded in 1717 and is about 20 miles from Washington DC removed. The federal Food and Drug Administration ( FDA) has its headquarters here, too, the computer game developer company Bethesda Softworks here has its headquarters.

In 2002, the first Indoor Pan American Cup in Hockey Hall took place in Rockville.
