Rodach (Itz)

Source version of the Unterrodach

The Unterrodach is a nearly 42 km long, right or north-western tributary of the Itz in Thuringia and Bavaria. Not far away, at Kronach, there is a same tributary of the River Main.

Course

The Unterrodach rises south of Hildburghausen - Leimrieth. It changes during its course several times over the Thuringian- Bavarian border between the Heldburger country and Coburg. It opens to the west of Itzgrund - Bodelstadt in the Itz.
