Roddi

Roddi is a municipality with 1552 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN ), Region Piedmont. In Roddi vines for the Dolcetto d' Alba, a red wine are grown with DOC status.

Neighboring municipalities are Alba, La Morra, Monticello d' Alba, Santa Vittoria d' Alba and Verduno.

Geography

The municipality covers an area of 9 km ².

Attractions

  • The fort of Roddi from the 11th century, in 2001 passed into the possession of the municipality Roddi and open to the public. From April to November art exhibitions are held there.
  • Parish Church of the Virgin Mary Assunta of Roddi built in 1699, with a Baroque façade and three-aisled interior.
