Roddino
Roddino ( Rodin Piedmontese ) is a municipality with 379 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN ), Region Piedmont. The municipality consists of the villages Costepomo, San Lorenzo, Noé, Santa Maria, Pozzetti, Lopiano, Santa Margherita, Corini and Roddino. The patron saint of the town is Santa Margherita.
Geography
The village lies at an altitude of 610 m above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 10.45 km ². The neighboring municipalities are Cerreto Langhe, Cissone, Dogliani, Monforte d' Alba, Serralunga d' Alba, Serravalle Langhe and Sinio.
Specialty
In Roddino vines for the Dolcetto d' Alba, a red wine are grown with DOC status. In parts of the municipality of vines for the Dolcetto di Dogliani are grown. The berries of the grape varieties Pinot Noir and / or Chardonnay may be processed for sparkling wine Alta Langa.
