Rodman Philbrick

Rodman Philbrick ( b. 1951 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American author who writes both youth and adults novels.

Life

Rodman Philbrick, born in 1951, grew up as the eldest of four brothers in Rye Beach, where he also went to school. In 1969 the high school graduation at the Portsmouth High School. He worked as a carpenter, boat builder and port workers. Alongside he wrote about ten novels, but found a publisher who was interested in publishing. " St. Martins Press "concluded in 1978, finally signed a contract for his first book with him. In 1980 he married the author Lynn Harnett.

Work

Some of Phil Bricks novels play in areas on the coast, for example, Slow Dancer, Brothers & Sinners and freak, to whom he later wrote a sequel, Max the Mighty. Together with his wife, he is constantly working on some book series for young readers, while still also writes thrillers for adults.

Rodman Philbrick is a member of the Mystery Writers Of America and the Writers Guild of America and owner of the Portsmouth Athenaeum.
