Rodney Waschka II

Rodney Waschka II (born 1958 ) is an American composer who is known for his algorithmic compositions.

Waschka studied at Brooklyn College, the Institute of Sonology of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and earned his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of North Texas. His teachers included Larry Austin at the University of North Texas, Charles Dodge at Brooklyn College and Paul Berg, Clarence Barlow, Joel Ryan and George Lewis at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. He has also studied with Robert Ashley.

Waschka teaches at North Carolina State University.
