Rodrigo Roncero

Rodrigo Roncero ( born February 16, 1977 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine rugby union player. He plays as a pillar for Stade Français and the Argentine national team.

Roncero, 1999 saw his debut for the national team against Japan. At this time he played in Argentina for the club Deportiva Francesa. In 2002, he decided on a professional career and joined the English club Gloucester RFC. Since then, he heard regularly in the squad of Argentina and was also nominated for the 2003 World Cup, where he was employed in two games. He then goes to France for Stade Français.

At the 2007 World Championships Roncero was in all parts of Argentina in action and helped the team surprisingly reached the third place. He is since this tournament as one of the best players in the world in his position.
