Rodrigo Sperafico

Rodrigo Sperafico ( born July 23, 1979 in Toledo) is a Brazilian racing driver from the family Sperafico. He is the twin brother of Ricardo and the cousin of Alexandre and the late Rafael Sperafico.

Sperafico began his career in 1990 in karting, which he held until 1996. In 1996, he made ​​also some experience in Formula racing and started winter championship in the British Formula Ford. Then he went in 1997 in the British Formula Ford to the starting line, finishing in ninth place overall. Then Sperafico returned to South America for two years and went to the South American Formula 3 Championship at the start. After finishing seventh in the first year, he finished second in the season with two wins third overall. Like his brother, he moved in 2001 into the formula 3000th He started as team-mate Fabrizio Gollin for Coloni F3000. In 2002, the Brazilian was once again a cockpit in Formula 3000 and he went for the Durango team at the start. Sperafico directly won the first race in Interlagos and was the second race in second place. In the rest of the season, he managed to retract just in another race as third points. In the overall classification, he finished behind his brother in sixth place overall. He also started in 2002 with less success in eight races in the World Series by Nissan.

After starting in any race in 2003, he returned in 2004 to the World Series by Nissan back. He competed in four races in which he had no points. Then he moved to the Stock Car Brasil, where he has been active since 2004. His best finish he achieved in 2007 when he won the runner-up title. The runner-up title, however, was overshadowed by the death of his cousin Rafael, who died in an accident in the last race of the season in the Stock Car Brasil Light.
