Rogelio Sánchez González

Rogelio Sánchez González ( born April 23, 1921 in San José de Gracia, Michoacán, † December 22, 2011 ) was a Mexican Roman Catholic priest and Bishop of Colima.

Life

Rogelio Sánchez González received on 25 March 1944, the ordination. He was rector of the seminary of Zamora.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on July 23, 1972 Bishop of Colima. The Archbishop of Guadalajara José Salazar López consecrated him on 4 October of the same year the bishop; Were co-consecrators Ignacio de Alba y Hernández, Bishop Emeritus of Colima, and Adolfo Hernandez Hurtado, Bishop of Zamora.

Already on February 8, 1980, Pope John Paul II offered to resign for health reasons.
