Roger Ailes

Roger Eugene Ailes ( born May 15, 1940 in Warren, Ohio) is an American television producer. He was media advisor to Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush, and is the CEO of Fox News.

Life

Ailes was born in 1940 in Warren, Ohio. He attended Ohio University in Athens, which he left in 1962 with a bachelor's degree. After graduating, he was first employed by a regional media company, in 1967 he was engaged by the campaign team of Richard Nixon as a consultant. In subsequent years, Ailes worked as a television and musical producer and media consultant.

He was President of CNBC in 1993. He is considered responsible for the higher rates and greater profitability, which reached the station in the sequence. In 1996 he designed for Rupert Murdoch Fox News, whose CEO he was. He made Fox News the United States of the most successful news channel.
