Roger Bissière

Roger Bissière ( born September 22, 1886 in Villeréal, Lot- et- Garonne, † December 2, 1964 in Boissirette, department Lot) was a French painter of Tachism and glass painter.

Bissière began in the wake of Cubism, and developed under the influence of Paul Klee's a dreamy and poetic style. Eventually he came to delicately colored, abstract shapes.

Roger Bissière took part in documenta 1 (1955), Documenta II ( 1959), and also the documenta III in Kassel in 1964.
