Roger De Vlaeminck

Roger De Vlaeminck ( born August 24, 1947 in Eeklo ) is a former Belgian cyclist and was in the 1970s one of the most successful classic rider of cycling.

De Vlaeminck is Rik Van Looy and next to Eddy Merckx is the only rider to win all five monuments of cycling. His four wins at Paris- Roubaix, which he in the import " Hell of the North " 1972-1977 were, until 2012 equaled by his compatriot Tom Boonen.
