Roger Roberts, Baron Roberts of Llandudno

(John) Roger Roberts, Baron Roberts of Llandudno ( born October 23, 1935) is a Welsh Liberal Democrat politician.

Roberts studied at the University College of North Wales and Handsworth Methodist College in Birmingham. In 1957 he was a Methodist minister and was for 20 years superintendent of Llandudno.

Roberts was for many years President of the Welsh Liberal Party and the Liberal Democrats. He was for several years a member of the Council of the District Assembly of Aberconwy and was five times candidate for the parliamentary seat of the constituency Conwy. His SohnF Gareth Roberts ran in 2005 for the same seat in parliament.

Roberts was raised as Baron Roberts of Llandudno for Life Peer and sits for the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords.

Roberts is a widower and has three children.
