Roggenstorf
Roggenstorf is a municipality in the north- western part of the North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The municipality is the Office Grevesmühlen country located in the town of Greve mills, which forms an administrative community with the Office, managed. In Roggenstorf and environment, agriculture plays a major role. The proximity to the Baltic Sea is also interesting for tourists.
Geography
The municipality stretches from Roggenstorf Klützer angle in the north to the Valley of the Stepenitz out. The cliffs of the Baltic Sea is located about 10 km as the crow flies from Roggenstorf. The nearest towns are Dassow, Klutz and Greve mills.
To Roggenstorf include the districts Alt- Greschendorf, Greven stone, Rankendorf and Trammplatz.

The village church Roggenstorf dates from the 14th century, were married here in 1851 the eminent German writer Fritz Reuter down and Luise Kuntze, the daughter of Roggenstorfer pastor. Reminded a plaque at the rectory of the church.
In the district Rankendorf there are now a renovated former farmhouse, in a guesthouse, you can visit ancient agricultural implements. Built of fieldstone 1856 bacon tower in Rankendorf seems somewhat unusual; it was a building that originally served the village all the inhabitants of tendrils for smoking. It reminds outside of a medieval village church, whose ship was divided into apartments. In the windmill built in 1903 in the district Grevenstein a mineralogical collection is shown. Instead of the cap it has a lookout tower. In the near future a boulder garden will be built in a former gravel pit.
Traffic
Through the south of the municipality ( district Trammplatz ), the Federal Highway 105 from Wismar to Lübeck. In Trammplatz began in the communist era, the exclusion zone to the Federal Republic of Germany - nearly 20 km before the former border crossing Selmsdorf / Lübeck - Schlutup. The driveway Schoenberg on the A 20 is approximately 15 km, the nearest train station is in cracklings ( Lubeck railway - bath small ).
