Rogoznica

Rogoznica (German outdated. Zesto small cape, it Capocesto ) is a small fishing village in Croatia. It is situated between Split and Sibenik.

The town lies on a small island called Kopara, but it is connected by a 500 meter-long causeway to the mainland and now extended there. Already in the year 1390 there are records of people that have settled on this coast, and thus founded the place. Today Rogoznica has about 800 inhabitants and is based more and more on tourism, since the fishing is always unlukrativer.

Among the attractions of the place is one of the one of the Dragon's Eye and on the other the newly built Marina Frapa.
