Rogue Wave (band)

Rogue Wave is an American rock band from Oakland, California.

History

In 2002, the musician Zach Rogue left his old band Desoto Reds to record an album with the title Out of the Shadow. However, for live performances he needed extra musicians and established a solid band called Rogue Wave. Through their performances they soon found a label that released the debut LP.

With their second album Descended Like Vultures they reached in 2005 for the first time the indie charts. Songs from her album were used in television programs and increased their popularity. There was a difficult time of reassignment, personal problems and a label change, before, after two years with Asleep at Heaven's Gate released their third album. Although it reached number 7 on the Heatseeker charts, but was otherwise largely ignored. Only with the album Permalight succeeded Rogue Wave 2010 a first major success. It was No. 1 on the Heatseeker charts and reached the Billboard 200
