Roissy-en-France

Roissy -en -France is a commune with 2869 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Val- d'Oise of the Ile- de -France region; it belongs to Arrondissement Sarcelles Gonesse and Canton.

Geography

The municipality is situated approximately 20 kilometers north-east of Paris, on the border with the neighboring departments of Seine- et- Marne and Seine- Saint- Denis. Neighboring municipalities are:

  • Louvres in the north,
  • Épiais -lès -Louvres in the Northeast,
  • Mauregard in the east ( Seine- et- Marne )
  • Tremblay -en -France in the Southeast (Seine- Saint- Denis )
  • Gonesse the southwest,
  • Le Thillay and Vaudherland in the West, as well as
  • Goussainville in the northwest.

With the airport Paris -Charles -de- Gaulle ( officially Roissy -Charles -de- Gaulle ), whose administrative offices located in the municipal area, here are also the headquarters of Air France- KLM and its subsidiary Servair and an Equinix data center.
